One of the most widely used Google Play Store and iOS app is WhatsApp. There is a total of over one billion downloads on Play Store. According to a recent release from WhatsApp, the app has 1 billion everyday active users and 1.3 billion monthly active users.

WhatsApp has been adding a number of features that makes it competent with the other sharing platforms like Snapchat and Instagram. There is also the live location feature newly added for users all across iOS and Android. And now, it is the turn for another new feature that has been long looked forward to.

The new feature
The Delete for Everyone feature is likely to be rolled out now. This latest update will be present on Android, iOS and Windows Phone Operating System. In the coming days, the feature shall also be made available on the other platforms. This will be a day saver for most of the WhatsApp users as the app has become a communication channel for both personal and professional needs.

Delete for Everyone
Most of us would have faced the situation of having sent a wrong message to the wrong person. It is at such critical scenarios that we will come handy. For all personal and professional communication needs, WhatsApp would come handy. As there is hardly a blurred line amidst your list of names, it is very easy to send such inappropriate texts to some other contact rather than whom you intended to send.

With this new Delete for Everyone feature, you can simply click on to the respective wrongly sent message and click on delete for everyone. It will thus get deleted from the receiver’s smartphone device. This comes with a few terms and conditions though. The message sent should be deleted within 7 minutes of sending the text.

The receiver’s WhatsApp application should be kept updated, as the feature is unavailable in the old versions. This update will not be available on Symbian operating system. Eventually, the feature shall be made available in most other devices. iOS may however get the feature a bit earlier.

A lot of new features are being introduced by WhatsApp continuously. And there is in fact the feature called Stories with which it is entering the social media realm.

While the other features like conference video, and voice calling are available on many other applications even before the launch on WhatsApp, the abundance of user base on WhatsApp makes it an instant hit. There is whopping 1 billion daily users and 1.3 billion monthly active users.

The recently launched Live Location sharing feature is already available on other mobile apps like Messenger, Google Maps, Telegram, etc. but the same may reach wider range of audience on WhatsApp.
