Schools to function on coming Saturdays?

After making an inspection-cum-review visit to the Narayanapuram Lake located in Kanchipuram, the School Education Minister Sengottaiyan informed that mainly in order to compensate the lost working days due to the recent heavy and incessant rains, a review on whether the schools can function on the coming Saturdays is in progress.
The recent successive holidays due to rains had to be declared keeping the safety of the students and the anxiety of the parents in consideration.
Further, the residents in low-lying areas are being moved to safer places.
