Boards in Trees are to be Banned in Chennai

Corporation commissioner D Karthikeyan said they would tie up with Nizhal, an NGO whose volunteers will help remove nails from the trees.

 Trees near bus stops, railway stations and other crowded places are mainly targeted.by the local advertisers to establish their advertisement in the tree for public view they who nail the advertisement boards to trees and we will take stringent action against them.said by the corporation officials.they added that We have seen entire trees covered with boards and removed several kilos of long and rusty nails from a single tree on Venkatnarayana Road in T Nagar. Wounds on trees can leave them open to fungal attacks and reduce their life span." 

Even Public servants like "activists of political parties nail their banners and boards to trees."some advertisers argue that much small nails wont show that much effect on the Thick trees.how atrousious this quote they don’t uderstand  that single small event would spoil the entire environment that is to be protected by even a single layman.
