Chennai Rain Update - Steady rains to cover entire city

The intense clouds have arrived and we will get steady rains, we need to wait further to see if the temp vortex (refer the image attached for understanding) formed close to Chennai within the Low Pressure Area will spin the intense clouds over Chennai. If the intense clouds fall over us, we are in for heavy rains, if it skirts then only steady rains.
Next update based on clarity, i will surely tell where we stand - 1) whether it is going to be only steady rains or 2) are we in for heavy rains.
