Chennai Rain Update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

The clouds have arrived but at the same time, in making that stressfull move against the steering, it has weakened a lot. So this steady rains with at times increase in intensity is going to continue for a while.
Rain intensity will pick up but will not be intense
Rain intensity can pick up from now but no heavy rains, there are some cumulonimbus (CB) clouds seen here and there in the huge cloud mass (rounded ones). Clarity - No heavy rains but its going steady steady one.
Radar is not everything
Today many would have learnt, Radar direction showed clouds moving North to south and missing us. But in the end clouds moved west towards coast. The westward movement in the clouds is due to movement of Low pressure slightly westwards. You have to run this simulation in your mind.
