The procedure for NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) to get Aadhar is the same as what the Indians do furbish the required details and proofs.
As per the Aadhar Rule 2016, only Indians who live in India for 182 days in a year can get the Aadhar card. The non-resident Indian can apply online to get the date for an online session with the Aadhar authorities.
The procedure
Appointment: Book the appointment to get the Aadhar card through the website
www.uidai.gov.in or one can personally visit the nearest Aadhar office.
Documents required: When going for applying for Aadhar card, remember to take residential address proof, birth certificate, and PAN card.
Application: Fill up the application given. Attach the required proof documents and submit to the officer. He will take your biometric details.
