Reliance calls for next lot of JioPhone orders

The process of booking JioPhone has begun again, as Reliance Retail has restarted the same! During this time, it will be open only for people who have already expressed interest for the phone.
 
Messages are being sent to potential buyers all of whom had shown interest towards buying the phone in the month of July. All of them can visit the link and click on it or dial to the number displayed in their message.
 
A channel partner of Reliance Jio states that a link shall be sent to all the customers who show interest towards paying Rs 500 with the authorized channel. Once the payment is done, the details of date on which the phone will be sent will be shared, and the phone will be delivered to them.
 
So far, over 10 million people have expressed interest towards the phone in July. All of them are now receiving messages from Jio. There is no immediate comment or update neither from Jio nor Reliance Retail regarding the process of development.
 
In just 3 days of opening bookings for the JioPhones, there were over 6 million bookings. It was on 24th August that the bookings were opened, to note.
 
Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries announced that users can enjoy the 4G feature phone for absolutely zero price! However, to prevent misuse of the phone, it is necessary for the buyers to pay Rs 1,500 as refundable deposit, he adds. The full sum of money shall be refunded to customers after a period of 36 months of usage. Further, the refund scheme is also relaxed.
 
As per new terms for the Jio users, they can get up to Rs 500 when they return device within a year and recharged for Rs 1500 for the year.
 
It is up to the customer to choose the recharge tariff plan for recharging the full amount of Rs 1500 per year. While returning the phone during the second year, customer will get one more Rs 1000 and in the third year, the complete amount shall be refunded. Delivery of JioPhones has begun in small towns starting from Navarathri festival.
