Cyclone Ockhi - Lashing high gusts & uprooting many trees in Kanyakumari belt

Cyclone Ockhi wont make landfall, still as long you stay at home, its safe. Dont stand under the trees. Particularly the Rubber trees. It can be easily uprooted.

High winds and heavy are reported particularly in Kanyakumari and also Nellai belt. As long as you are inside your house, You can see th radar how the Cyclone Ockhi is moving parallely along the Kanyakumari coast.

Its already a well defined system and winds are close to 40 knots at the centre. Hope they announce the Cyclone formation soon. What is the use of announcing it after moving away. Namma sonnalum Thittuvanga avangalum solla mattanga till last moment.
