No Cyclone Threat to Tamil Nadu in coming week. Yes the Depression will form and will become Deep Depression too and in worst case a cyclone too but it is expected move towards Andhra and weaken under lot of un-favorable conditions. I dont think this system deserves the attention which media and the official agency are giving.
Rains - Some rains exist but honestly no flooding type rains or even or very heavy rains.
There may be rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu and that too not heavy rains like what Chennai saw in November or what Kanyakumari saw with Cyclone Ockhi. So it will be normal unthreatening monsoon rains.
Sea will be rough on 6-8th December
Yes as the Depression nears us, the sea will be rough so fishermen should not venture into sea.
Wind threat - No
No wind threat to Tamil Nadu from this Depression / Deep Depression.
