Change in the IFSC code of SBI branches

IFSC code is given for financial transactions in order to identify the bank through which the transaction is done.

IFSC is an 11-digit alphabetical code. This plays an important role in the financial transaction.

Now, the State Bank of India has changed the IFSC code of its 1300 branches.

Accordingly, the IFSC code for all the SBI branches in major cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Patna, and Lucknow.

A senior SBI official explained that the customers will be made aware of this important change.

Ths change in the IFSC codes of the branches has been uploaded on the official website of the State Bank of India - https://www.onlinesbi.com.

The important activity of the change in the IFSC codes has been carried out after the merger of the SBI Associate banks.
