The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the formation of cyclonic circulation in the upper layers of the atmosphere and the low-depression zone formed, there are prospects of rain in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The centre explained that the cyclonic circulation format is persisting over the upper layers of the atmosphere over the sea near the Kanyakumari and neighbourhood areas.
In a similar trend, a low-pressure zone has formed over the zone between interior Karnataka and interior Tamil Nadu. Due to this, there are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro city would remain somewhat cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 32 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 23 Degrees Celsius. Fogs may prevail in some suburban areas of Chennai.
