M. Phil. & Ph. D. courses done in open universities valid

The state government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that the M. Phil. & Ph. D. courses done through open universities are valid.
As per this recent order, it has stated that the post degree course of M. Phil. And Ph. D courses completed through the open universities will be considered valid.
With this, the candidates with above qualifications will be eligible for appointments in the government colleges, government-aided colleges, universities, and colleges.
However, the candidates must have completed their post-graduation courses (before M. Phil. or Ph. D.) from any institution approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission). After these candidates must have completed a part-time or full-time course in the Tamil Nadu Open University.
