Minister Sengottaiyan: New syllabus will be released in February 2018

The Tamil Nadu state minister for school education. Sengottaiyan informed that the new syllabus will be released during February 2018.
3000 smart classes are planned to be set up during this academic year. By the next academic year, this will be increased to 10000 smart classes.
73000 students have joined the coaching centres to appear for NEET.
This government has striven hard to bring about major changes in the education system. 580000 laptop computers are to be distributed to the +2 students. Free IAS coaching centres will be set up in the district libraries.
The parent-teacher associations will organise counselling sessions to relieve the mental tension/anxiety among the students.
The new syllabus is scheduled to be released during February 2018. Arrangements are being made to implement the syllabus within 2 years instead of the originally scheduled period of 3 years.
A committee has been formed to award `weightage marks` to the teachers who have passed the TRB (Teachers Recruitment Board) examinations. Based on the recommendations from this committee, appointments will be made before February 2018.
