Chennai Chief Justice M.Y.Iqbal Promoted as Supreme Court Judge

From last 2010 Mr. M.y.Iqbal is serving as Chief Justice of High Court of Chennai. A conference held last month in Delhi which was headed by Supreme Court’s Chief Justice Mr. Altamas Kabir and other 5 important judges of Supreme Court to appoint Mr.Iqbal as a Justice of Supreme court. A letter contains recommendation regarding Mr.iqbal as a justice of Supreme court to President Pranab Mukherjee he ordered the reply letter to appoint Iqbal as Supreme court judge.
Mr.iqbal is said to be appointed soon as Supreme Court judge. And as a temporary Judge Mr.Dharma Roa will head the High Court in Chennai. Mr.Iqbal served as lawyer from 1975.and he is a gold medalist of law college in Ranchi College of law.
