This boy studying in sixth class is now honoured by district collector of Thiruvannamalai

Getting honoured for our work is what every one of us desire in our lives. If a person gets honoured for his or her work at a very young age then it is really fabulous.

A boy named Ramakrishnan studying sixth class in Mount Saint Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Thiruvannamalai is attracting the attention of many now. It is now said that this boy of age 11 residing in Jai Beam Nagar in Thiruvannamalai has been honoured by none other than Mr. KS. Kandaswamy who is the district collector of Thiruvannamalai as the boy has done superb work of cleaning the road on his own interest.

It is now said that Ramakrishnan and his younger brother were playing on the road near the Camp office on Sunday and Ramakrishnan’s younger brother threw waste plus some dry leaves on the road and made the road dirty. Ramakrishnan was not able to withstand the road becoming dirty and he broke a branch from the tree and cleaned the road on his own interest. This news along with his photo was reported in the regional news paper also.

It is superb to mention that Mr KS. Kandaswamy who is the district collector of Thiruvannamalai district visited Saint Mount Joseph Matriculation School on Wednesday 10th January and applauded this 11 year old Ramakrishnan for taking interest in keeping the surroundings clean.

It is now revealed by an official that collector Mr. Kandaswamy saw the news and photograph about Ramakrishnan cleaning the road by himself and wanted to appreciate him for his good work and he asked his subordinates to find the boy. The official also spoke about how the collector wanted to go to the school to appreciate this boy.

On Wednesday the collector visited the school in which Ramakrishnan was studying and surprised many there. The collector praised Ramakrishnan for his superb work before other students. A bouquet was presented to this Ramakrishnan for his superb cleaning work.

It is brought out that during the awareness programmes about Dengue, the teachers of Ramakrishnan have spoken about keeping the surroundings clean and the boy had this in his mind and cleaned the road.

The district collector Mr. Kandaswamy shared his feelings openly and said Ramakrishnan’s work of keeping the surroundings clean must inspire other students. He also heaped praises on the teachers who have created social awareness in Ramakrishnan now. What this boy Ramakrishnan has done is remarkable and India needs many Ramakrishnan’s now.
