Tamil Nadu Election Department revived the new statistics of voters and also quenched in to the process of name inclusion of new voting members all over the state.
The revision consisted of totally 6,16,741 applications for name inclusion and among them 5,88,396 are verified and included.
According to the Election Department of Tamil Nadu, out of all 234 assemblies Chennai, Coimbatore and Kanchipuram has the highest number of voters compared to other constituencies. Kanyakumari has the highest number of young voters ranging from 18 to 19 age group.
The statistics released by the latest revision of Electoral Board under the supervision of Chief Electoral Officer, Rajesh Lakhoni., stated that there are 5.86 Crore Voter population including Men, Women and other genders.
Many duplicate entries and death certificated are sorted out this time to create the new revised list, deleting 49,000 names from the old revised entry of Voters list. Sholinganallur Constituency under Kanchipuram District has the maximum voters of totally 6,24,365 electors and the lowest rate is the Harbour Constituency from Chennai District which has only 1,65,610 electors totally.
