PNB Housing Finance inaugurates new Regional Office at Coimbatore

PNB Housing Finance, the country’s fifth-largest housing finance company, today inaugurated a state-of-the-art regional office at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, taking the total number of branches and regional offices in South India to 34.
The new office, located at Laxmi Mills Signal in Pappanayakan Palayam, was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh. B. Lund, President Credai (Coimbatore) and Mr. Vinod Reddy, General Manager and Zonal Business Head (South), PNB Housing Finance Limited.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shaji Varghese, Executive Director and Business Head of PNB Housing said, ““To strengthen our network in the Southern region and to ease the processes for loan and deposit customers in the surrounding areas, the Coimbatore regional office will play an important role. We have always endeavored to provide our customers a smooth and hassle-free experience while availing the benefits of home loan. The new office will offer high level service tailored to the needs of our customers providing them an experience like never before.”
“South is an important area for us as it accounts for approximately 30 per cent of the Company’s retail home loan business. The expansion is a part of our ongoing strategy to increase operations, grow our customer base, boost profitability and strengthen our presence in South India.”, Mr. Varghese added.
PNB Housing Finance has a total of 78 branches across 47 towns and cities. In H1 2017-18, the Company sanctioned INR 25,452 crore worth of loans with total disbursements of over INR 15,000 crore. In the current fiscal, PNB Housing Finance plans to open 23 new branches across the country. A majority of these will be located in western and southern regions.
