In order to counter the stiff competition from the other telecom service providers such as Reliance Jio, BSNL has announced the Maximum Prepaid Plan. Costing Rs. 999, the validity period is 1 year.

This new concessional offer is available to the entire country except for the Northeast part of India, Jammu-Kashmir, and Assam.

In this new offer, the customers get 1 GB data daily. In addition, other services are also given.

Once the hi-speed 1 GB data is exhausted, the speed will come down to 40 kbps. BSNL has registered this new Maximum Prepaid Plan on its official Twitter Page.

Under this new plan, unlimited voice calls, roaming, and 100 SMS are free for the first 182 days. Customers in Mumbai and Delhi have to pay 60 Paise per minute for voice calls.

From the 182nd day to the 365th day, all BSNL customers will have to pay 60 Paise per minute for the voice calls. This rate is applicable both for local and outstation calls. During this period, each SMS will be charged 25 Paise and each national SMS will be charged 35 Paise.

As compared with BSNL, Reliance Jio offers concessions for longer validities. For example, unlimited voice calls are valid for 360 days.

However, Jio plans are fixed at Rs. 4999 and Rs. 9999. Under the Rs, 4999 plan, the customers get 350 GB data, free voice calls, daily 100 free SMS, and the subscription for using Jio App valid for 360 days.

Under Jio’s Rs. 9999 plan, the customers get 750 GB data, valid for 360 days. Under the Jio Rs. 999 plan, the customers get 60 GB data valid for 90 days.
