Tamilnadu Buys 1000 MW extra from outer States

Tamilnadu government decided to buy 1000 MW extra electricity from other states of india. Due to scarcity of Electricity all around Tamilnadu Chennai as well as several parts of the cities,towns,villages are facing extreme trouble and shutdowns more than 12 hrs per day the current deficit amount of electricity of Tamilnadu is 4000 MW .but our state government decided to buy 1000 MW from outer states as well as Some Private Sectors.
For this a petition was submitted to Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission and the petitions contains the permission and to pave the way for buying electricity from private as well as from outer sectors from this year June onwards.
Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission has given permission for the state electricity board for buying electricity on the basis of Rs.5/unit.then the other things may be decided by the central authorities.
