North India
Rain and snow are likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh from February 20 to February 21. There will be a slight break from February 23 as the intensity will decrease significantly. However, soon another fresh Western Disturbance will start giving good rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from February 23 to 25. Isolated light rain may occur over North Rajasthan, and adjoining Haryana on February 21.
Between February 24 and 25, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely over Punjab, Haryana, parts of North Rajasthan, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
Central India
Dry weather will persist over most parts of Central India with warm and sunny sky conditions. Light rains are expected over parts of Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan on February 23 and 24. Thereafter, weather will once again become dry. Day temperatures will witness a fall during the rainy spell. Meanwhile, Gujarat and South Rajasthan will remain very warm.
East and Northeast India
Isolated light rain is likely on February 19 over East Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. Thereafter, weather will become dry. However, rain activity will once again occur between February 21 and 23. Thereafter, on February 25, isolated light rain is expected over Jharkhand, parts of Bihar and Sikkim.
South India
Weather will remain dry after that over entire South India till February 23. By February 24 and 25, scattered light rain with isolated moderate spells are expected over South Tamil Nadu and adjoining parts of Kerala.
