Conductors in Chennai MTC buses to issue bus tickets by going towards the passengers

Many people travel in buses to reach their destinations in Chennai. It is known that sometimes conductors in these MTC buses don’t go to the passengers to issue bus tickets. As a result the passengers travel in the buses without bus tickets. This has resulted in loss of revenue for the MTC.
The latest news is conductors in the MTC buses must not sit in their seats and issue tickets to the passengers. It is now said that they must approach the passengers in the buses and issue bus tickets according to the destination of these passengers. This new rule was put by the authorities belonging to MTC.
It is worthy to note that for those passengers travel in the buses using bus passes the conductors usually don’t take much effort to see their bus passes. It is now said that the conductors must approach the passengers having bus passes and check those bus passes.
