The Public Examinations for the +2 students are scheduled to start tomorrow (Thursday, 1st March). 866934 candidates are writing this +2 Public Examinations.
The State Examination Board had announced earlier that the Public Examinations would start on 1st March and conclude on 6th April.
Accordingly, it is set to start tomorrow. 866934 students from 6903 schools in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are writing this. 403176 students are boys. 463758 students are girls. There are 40682 private candidates as well.
2756 examination centres have been set up throughout the state. As compared to the last year, the number of examination centres has gone up by 278. The examinations are to start at 10.00 AM and end at 1.15 PM.
In Chennai Metro City, 50584 students from 407 schools are writing the +2 Public Examinations. 23346 students are boys. 23346 students are girls. There are 156 public examination centres.
Students are not permitted to wear shoes/socks, footwear, and belt and should not carry any gadget including cell phone into the examination centre/hall.
After the +2 public exams, the +1 Public Exams are set to start on 7th March and conclude on 16th April. It is worth noting here that this is the 1st ever time that public examinations are held for the +1 students. 861913 students are writing the +1 public examinations.
Following the +1 public examinations, the SSLC public examinations are starting on 16th March. 964441 candidates are participating.
