During the exams CBSE would allow students with special needs to use laptops or computers

Good news for the parents and their kids with special needs. Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE would allow the children with special needs or CWSN to write their class 10 as well as class 12 examinations using computers or laptops.

One important point to note here is the students must submit a certificate from a doctor or from any psychological consultant recommending the use of computer or laptop. Ground for using the computer or laptops must also be mentioned by the doctors.

According to CBSE exams committee order it is clear that for typing the answers or for seeing the questions in enlarged font size plus for listening to questions the computers or laptops could be used. These computers must be brought by the candidates themselves and it must be duly formatted. It is worthy to mention here that these computers must not have internet connections.

Relaxation up to 50 percent for the candidates with special needs who could not attend school like other students was also suggested by the exam committee.

Established in the year 1962, CBSE or central board of secondary education affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalaya or KV schools plus others like Navodaya Vidyalaya schools. This CBSE also affiliates schools belonging to the central government of India are well known.
