EB bill payment hours extended

The counters for paying EB bills in TANGEDCO payment centres will remain open for an additional 15 minutes in the evenings from yesterday (1st March).
TANGEDCO has 3000 Section Offices. Out of this, 90% of the Section Offices have the EB bill payment facility.
They remain open on weekdays from 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM. Until now, the 4th Saturday of each month was a working day for TANGEDCO.
However, from this month (March), the 4th Saturday of each month will be a holiday. Subsequently, the payment bill centres will be open for an additional 15 minutes – the offices will be open from 10.30 AM to 5.15 PM.
As the 4th Saturday of each month has been declared as a holiday for TANGEDCO officers and staff, the bill payment counters will be open for an additional 15 minutes in the evenings.
