Three Underground Metro Stations to start soon in North Chennai

In the region of North Chennai three underground metro stations are almost ready to open for the public. The connecting hub for this north Chennai metro lines will be the Central station Metro.

According to the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) reports this part of the northern regional metro stations will be connected to the whole transit systems through Anna Salai Metro Station. Washermenpet, Mannadi and High Court are the neighborhood connections from the Central Station being the hub. Final corrections in signaling system and electrical systems are in quick progress for completion to commence its service for Chennai transportation.

Within the New year Commuters can start using this metro line transportation connecting to almost all localities of the city. May Day Park, Government Estate, LIC and Thousand Lights stations of the CMRL are the underground metro centers to be opened earlier which then allows the North Chennai lines to start the Public transportation.

The Washermenpet-Central line of Metro connects directly with the Anna Salai underground station and then towards southern spots of Chennai Metro. Through Poonamalle High Road junction Commuters can directly travel to Airport from Chennai Central.

Pedestrian Subways are still in progress on certain Metro junctions so that people can use these subway lines to the metro station and the common road side subways making it entirely easy for Commuters.
