First IMAX Theatre in Chennai-velachery

US-based IMAX Corporation will finally open its outlet in Chennai. The first will be in Phoenix Market City at Velachery and the next in Vijaya Mall in Vadapalani,
Movie goers have been looking forward to the IMAX theatre since its announcement to come to Chennai in 2005. The first agreement was signed with Sathyam Cinemas for its screens in Express Avenue Mall in Royapettah, but the deal did not go through.
IMAX is currently in all metros in India with the exception of Chennai. Click Here to Know more
