Villagers catch fraud doctors

Four persons posing as doctors were caught conducting a ‘medical camp’ in Alangudi in Pudukottai district.

The camp which was publicized earlier saw a throng of villagers attending to screened for ailments. They were, then, asked to pay for medicines from unknown pharmaceutical companies. When the villagers asked for a postal address, the team refused to give one which instigated a police complaint. It was then found that they were not qualified and were running a scam.
