The results of NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) mandatory for joining medical courses MBBS and BDS are scheduled to be released on 5th June.
A pass in NEET conducted by the central government is mandatory for the students who have completed +2 and desire to join the medical courses such as MBBS or BDS or Nature Cure Courses
The Central Ministry of health has announced that the admission to medical courses in both government and private medical colleges must be on the basis of NEET performance. NEET for this year’s admissions for medical courses was conducted on 6th May. 13 Lakhs candidates participated in NEET in 2255 NEET Centres in 136 cities throughout the country.
The question papers were in 11 languages including English and Hindi. 1.07 Lakhs candidates wrote NEET from the state of Tamil Nadu. Out of this, 24000 candidates undertook NEET in Tamil. The keynote answers for NEET and model answers were released by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) 2 weeks ago. Based on the observations/suggestions of the students, the activity of the correction NEET answer sheets has been completed.
CBSE has decided to release the NEET results on 5th June. It is gathered that the official announcement regarding this would be released in 2 days. Following the release of NEET results, the merit/rank list based on the NEET marks will also be released before 8th June.
