Following the release of the results of NEET today (Monday, 4th June), the Medical Council of India has released the details of the details of how many cut-off marks are required to participate in the counselling.
The counselling for the Tamil Nadu students is scheduled to start on 25th July. The 1st Phase of the counselling for the medical courses throughout the country is scheduled from 25th June to 5th July.
The students who participated in the 1st Phase counselling have to join in the respective allotted colleges before 12th July.
The 2nd Phase of counselling is scheduled from 15th July to 26th July. The students who participate in the 2nd Phase counselling should join the respective allotted colleges before 3rd August.
Students belonging to the open cadre or the general category need a score of 119 out of 720 will be eligible to participate in the counselling. They must have scored 171 out of 180 in Physics, 160 out of 180 in Chemistry, and 360 out of 360 in Botany and Zoology.
It is notified that OBC candidates required 119and SC/ST candidates 96 to be eligible to participate in the counselling.
