Announcing draft polling booth list by Chennai Corporation

The latest update from the Greater Chennai Corporation on July 2 has released the draft list of polling booths for sixteen assembly constituencies in Chennai city. The list is finalized by the authorities entirely based on electoral list that was released in the month of January, 2018.
According to Chennai Corporation the polling booths with more than 1400 electors will be split for the regulation of uniformity and effective operations on the days of election. The official list was submitted to the zonal offices of the civic body.
The list of polling draft will be officially presented in the Corporation’s zonal offices in Tondiarpet (Zone 4), Royapuram (Zone 5), Thiru Vi Ka Nagar (Zone 6), Anna Nagar (Zone 8), Teynampet (Zone 9), Kodambakkam (Zone 10) and Adyar (Zone 13).
One of the statement of the release said if there are any objections and clarification queries in the finalized list of polling booths, people can send their objection feedback to the respective electoral registration officer starting from July 2 to July 9.
