Those who have not seen Shelf Clouds can see it today in Chennai. Remember after Thunder starts dont go to terrace and and see them, its not safe.
Enjoy the rains. It might rain with very high intensity and current spell may last 15-20 mins max.
Mean while very high intensity rains are lashing Oragadam-Padappai belt in Outskirts of Chennai. use the radfar to track the storms -
