Prospects of heavy rains in the western districts

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has warned that there are strong prospects of heavy rains in the Western Ghat adjacent districts.
The southwest monsoon rainy season has spread throughout the country in the western states, northeast states, and northern states.
The weather bureau has warned that there are prospects of very heavy rains in the northeastern states.
Further, a warning has been issued that there are prospects of heavy rains in the districts adjacent to the western ghat range near the borders of the states of Karnataka and Kerala.
Cyclonic winds and sudden rains are likely in the coastal areas and the interior districts.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. It has been estimated that there are prospects of rain in a few places due to the thermal convection phenomenon.
