Anna University releases the statistics of the engineering colleges

Anna University has released new information detailing which merit list is linked to admission in which engineering college. The merit/rank lists for the last 3 years are included in this info.
Presently, admission to the engineering courses (1st year of B. E. or B. Tech.) Offered by the colleges functioning under Anna University is in progress. This year, for the 1st time, the counselling is conducted online.
1.04 Lakh candidates have qualified for counselling. The merit/rank list for these candidates was released on 28th June. Online counselling is slated to be conducted after 10th July. In this scenario, in order to alleviate the anxiety/confusion of the qualified candidates about the selection of the best college for their chosen courses, new guideline info has been released by Anna University.
These following details have been uploaded to the website – http://tnea.ac.in.
- In each college, the following college-wise details are given:
- The seats allotted for the students for each preferred course as per the merit/rank list.
- Caste-wise cut-off marks
- The cut-off mark details for admission during the years from 2015 to 2017
Once the students read the guideline info, it would become easier for them to select the preferred college.
