Facility to get birth and death certificates online now available

The State Department of Public Health has announced that henceforth, the facility to obtain birth and death certificates online is available.
Since the year 2000, the birth and death certificates have been issued by the Revenue Department, Corporation Offices, and the respective Panchayats. Software, known as CRS, was being used generally in this process in all the offices.
In this situation, for details regarding the pregnant ladies and infants, separate software called Pregnant and Infant Cohort Monitoring and Evaluation (PICME) was being used. With this software, it was enabled to provide the required government assistance offered.
In this situation, the necessary modification has been carried out in the main software CRS to include the procedure required for the pregnant ladies and infants as well. Thus the software adopted is integrated and now, only a single software is being used for all the birth/death certificates.
