Crude Oil Pipeline Leak

The residents at Sathuma Nagar in Tollgate were too scared to cook when they found puddles of crude oil outside their houses on Friday.
This is the third leak from crude oil pipelines that have been laid by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. ‘The underground pipeline that passes through our street is over 40 years old. But the population has increased over the period of time. The company should immediately take steps to lay a new pipeline to ensure our safety’, said a resident.
