The results of the entrance examination conducted by the state government of Tamil Nadu for admission to the courses of B. Arch. is to be released tomorrow (Thursday, 16th August).
The students who have completed +2 and interested in pursuing the course of B. Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) need to write and pass NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) entrance examination.
However, as awareness about NATA among the students of Tamil Nadu is rather very poor, many students attempt to join the B. Arch. Course without writing NATA. In this situation, the counselling for the candidates who had passed NATA for this academic year was conducted recently for the government quota in the colleges affiliated to Anna University. However, only very few seats were filled during the counselling.
Hence, another separate entrance test was conducted by the state government of Tamil Nadu on 1th August. 584 candidates participated. The candidates who are successful in this tes cannot participate in the counselling. However, they can join the course under the administration quota.
With the correction of the answer sheets in the recent test conducted by the Tamil Nadu state government having just been completed, the results are set to be released tomorrow. The candidates will also be informed of the results through e-mail and to the cell phones as SMS.
