One of the main factors attributed to the longer life-span enjoyed by the earlier generations is the intake of varieties of grains.
However, in our current lifestyle, we do not include grains regularly in our diet.
Here is the recipe for a gruel made out of barley and horse gram – take it and keep the body fit and trim:
Roast some quantity of horse gram (without oil) and powder. Roast some barley and powder it as well. These powders can be kept readily available.
Other ingredients
- Cumin powder – a pinch
- Pepper powder – a pinch
- Salt – pinch
Take horse gram powder and barley powder in 1:2 ratio (a cup of horse gram powder to be mixed with half-a-cup of barley powder). Add the cumin powder, pepper powder and the required salt, mix with sufficient water. Make a gruel by boiling this.
Taking this gruel every day will strengthen the body. The toxic water in the body system will get removed. The excess fat/tissues will get dissolved. The body will become trim and fit.
