The registration of applications for the +2 supplementary examinations for the private candidates commences today (Monday, 27th August). This supplementary examination for +2 is scheduled from 24th September to 4th October.

The applying procedure/details and the examination timetable are uploaded on the website - www.dge.tn.gov.in.

The private candidates can visit the Service centres of the department of examinations from 1st September and apply. The candidates who fail to do this can apply online in Tatkal mode on 3rd and 4th September.

Replacing the earlier system of 200 marks for each subject in the +2 examinations up to last year, the system of maximum 100 marks for each subject is to be adopted from this year onwards. So, the candidates who have failed in +2 examinations till the year 2017 can participate only in the just announced supplementary examinations and public examinations scheduled to be conducted in March 2019. If a candidate is interested in writing the +2 examinations scheduled in September 2019, a condition has been introduced that the candidates must have passed in the 10th Standard and +1 Public examination.

A supplementary examination was conducted in June for the candidates who failed in the +2 public examinations in March this year and also those who failed to attend the examination after applying.  The results of this examination have been announced.

In this situation, the results of the re-valuation and re-totalling are being released today (Monday, 27th August).

The candidates can visit the website – http://scan.tndge.in/ and know the results by the afternoon session today.

The list will include only those candidates for whom the there are changes in the marks. Hence, if the name is missing from the list, it must be construed that there are no changes in the mark.

The candidates in the above list can download the corrected marksheets from the website – http://www.dge.tn.nic.in.

The director of the state government examination board has announced that the dates for the issue of the original mark certificates will be announced later.
