The pregnant women must be especially careful during the 1st 3 months of pregnancy. The main reason for that extra care is that the prospects of abortion are much more during this stage – the 1st 3 months of pregnancy. So, it is essential for the pregnant women to be especially careful regarding their activities and the food intake.

Further, even the doctors usually strongly recommend that healthy food items must be taken during this period.

The pregnant women, during the 1st 3 months of pregnancy, must take food items rich in protein and Calcium. These nutrients play an essential role in the growth of the child in the womb.

Protein helps the growth in a steady and uniform condition and Calcium helps in the proper healthy strengthening of the bones. This is why the pregnant women must take these items during the 1st 3 months of pregnancy.

Here are some essential food items strongly recommended to be taken during this period:

Spinach – Spinach green is rich in Calcium and Iron. So, when the pregnant women take it, the blood production will increase and this extra blood circulation will help the child in the womb.

Almond – Almond is rich in Vitamin E, Omega-3 Fatty Acid, and protein. So, taking this ensure sufficient quantity of protein-rich food for the healthy growth of the child in the womb.
