In order to bring more transparency and efficiency in the registration process of property document the concerned state owned department has launched a new software, Star 2.0 for the mentioned purpose. With this new mechanism the applicant would be notified of all the steps taken for the document registration of properties from September 3, 2018.
Those who try to register their documents must update their mobile phone numbers in the official website
https://tnreginet.gov.in. According to the official announcement of the registration department once the registered mobile number is verifies with the One Time Password (OTP) the applicants can start to prepare their draft documents needed for the formal registration.
Every steps in the whole process of registration will be updated to the applicants via SMS. Once the document is registered the office of the Inspector General of Registration will verify the Applicant‘s claim said the sources of the registration department.
