Brahmotsavam at Tirupathi Temple from 13th to 21st September

Brahmotsavam in Tirupathi is celebrated every year on a grand scale. Accordingly, This year’s Brahmotsavam at the famous Tirupathi temple is scheduled to be celebrated from 13th September to 21st September for 9 days.

As a preparation for the above occasion, the routine of cleaning the temple premises, known as ‘Alwar Thirumanjanam’. is scheduled to commence at 6.10 AM and concludes by 11.00 AM on 11th September.

The activity will be undertaken from the Ananda Nilayam in the Temple Complex to the Madhwaram outside the temple complex.

The regular Ashta Thalapadha Padmaradhana Seva performed at 6.30 AM and the VIP Darshan tickets will be cancelled for this day.

Subsequently, the main temple entrance doors are closed and the cleaning activity will be in progress. No devotees will be allowed inside for Darshan during this period. So, all the Darshans remain stopped for 5 hours.

After the completion, the doors of the temple will be opened and the ‘Naivedyam’ for the Lord Venkateswara will be performed at 12.00 Noon.

Subsequently, the devotees will be allowed inside till 1.00 AM in the night.
