The state government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that following a detailed review of the marks obtained by the students in the recently held quarterly examinations and organise special classes for the students of the 10th Standard and +2 classes.

In Tamil Nadu, Public Examinations are conducted for the classes from the 10th standard to +2.

Out of these, the marks obtained in +1 public examination would not be taken for consideration. Thus, the students need to obtain higher marks in their 10th Standard and +2 Public Examinations. So, all the private schools have organised special classes for these students right from the start.

Subsequently, the officers of the education department of the state government have ordered that the headmasters/principals should ensure 100% success in the public examinations. For this purpose, the detailed review of marks obtained in the recently conducted quarterly examinations must be reviewed by the school headmasters and accordingly organise additional special classes.

So, the students who scored rather poor marks in the recently conducted quarterly examination in the 10th Standard and +2 classes must be separated and special classes will be conducted for them during the mornings and evenings before and after the normal working hours of the school. Further, it has been advised regular examinations on a lower scale should be conducted for these students and thus relieve the tension/anxiety of the students about the public examinations.
