Union Railway Minister Pavan Kumar Bansal on Tuesday announced that the passengers, who want to reserve their railway reservation tickets, need not stand in long-queues and wasting times. Instead they could reserve by the click of their cell-phone buttons which they possess. The reservation could be done round-the-clock, Bansal said while submitting Railway Budget.
Arrangements for reserving tickets through cell-phones would come active in the near future, Bansal said. As of now the people there is a provision of booking of tickets through computers having internet connections, and the latest announcement of the Railway Minister introducing reservation through cell-phones would surely make any passengers to book their tickets from the places where they reside.
