Unapproved schools list to be published, plea filed in court

A PIL was filed by R. Venkatachalam of Vyasarpadi which asked the Tamil Nadu Government to list out unapproved schools to help parents find good ones for their children. The first bench, comprising of acting Chief Justice R. K. Agrawal and Justice N. Paul Vasanthakumar, issued notices to the Chennai District Administration, the Education Department and CMDA Authorities on Tuesday.
According to Mr. Venkatachalam, the authorities were allowing the schools to function despite having full knowledge of the violations.
