Monsoon onset likely to be delayed and things are looking good from November 1st week
===================
Onset of North East Monsoon is going to be further delayed and might only happen in the first few days of November as the next low in bay of bengal will be pushed / dragged away from our coast by the incoming West Disturbance (WD) / upper level trough to North Bay of Bengal. Odisha and West Bengal will be again lucky to get rains.

Mostly dry days for most parts of TN for next few days except for southern districts such as kanyakumari, Nellai, Thoothukudi, Ramanthapuram and Thiruvarur and nearby districts which might see some isolated rains in the coming days.

MJO coming back
---------------------
MJO is coming into our basin in first week of November. Without MJO rarely NEM is success.

In 2017. Only one week (1st week of November) of rains were required to get entire quota of Chennai rains.

Note:There is no link between late onset and performance of our monsoon.
