Electricity bill can be paid today (10th November)

Though today (Saturday, 10th November) is a 2nd Saturday of the month and hence a usual holiday, there are 3000 branch offices of TANGEDCO. Out of these branches, 90% have the facility of counters to pay the electricity bill. All these offices have holidays on every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. The other Saturdays of the month are working days.
The state government of Tamil Nadu had declared Monday, 5th November as a holiday on the eve of Deepavali. So, even though today is a 2nd Saturday, the TANGEDCO branch office with bill payment counters will function as usual today (Saturday, 10th November).
