Accident claims 5 in Trichy

A road accident in Soriampatti in Tiruchirapalli district claimed 5 lives on Friday. Their car had collided with a container lorry that was stationery. 5 others who were in the car were seriously injured and have been hospitalized.
The deceased included two children, two women and a man. They are reported to have died almost immediately after the accident.
