Jaya unhappy with fuel price hike

Following the rise in petrol prices by Rs. 1.40 per litre, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa said that the UPA was creating yet another crisis and untold miseries for the people. She also said that the Centre had already created difficulties with the Union Budget (2013) and their ‘wrong economic policies will only deteriorate the nation’s economy.
While addressing the media, Ms. Jayalalithaa said, ‘I wish to tell the government that if it goes ahead with `troubling-the-people-is-a-norm` approach, they will shed tears unable to tolerate the atrocity which will become a tool that will destroy the central government.’
