Due to the above 2 formations, there are prospects of widespread rains in the southern coastal districts, delta districts, and the districts of Cuddalore and Pudhukkottai, and Puducherry and Karaikkal.
The Chennai Metro City skies will be cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain sometimes.
