The facility for online registration of property was commenced on 12th February. Since then, a number of changes have been carried out to streamline the process including the receipt of applications for registration of property and the return of the original bonds/documents.
However, it has been established that lots of malpractices were being carried out by the department officials while receiving the applications as per the serial order in the stages including preparation of the list of encumbrance certificate, scanning, etc.,
Subsequently, some changes have been carried out in the software so that the scanning of documents has been taken up only as per the order of the serial number and to prevent any attempt to bypass this serial number order.
